Arts and Activism Mini-Grant
The Activism in the Arts Mini-Grant is a pilot program of Faith Matters Network for the Summer of 2017 designed to support the ongoing work of local arts-based activism and cultural organizing in the Nashville area that amplifies the most pressing social justice issues within our community.
This year’s theme, “The Soul of the City” seeks to highlight the ongoing affordable housing and homeless crisis in the Greater Nashville area. Three awards of $1,500 will be given to Nashville-based projects. The deadline for applications is June 16th, 2017 and awards will be announced on June 23rd, 2017.
Arts in Action Rapid Response Fund
Available for a limited time (June-August 2017), the Acts in Action Fund is a rapid response fund that supports the work of urgent campaigns raising the volume on issues of affordable housing and homelessness crisis in the Greater Nashville area through the creative and visual arts.
The fund will accept of proposals of up to $500 until August 2, 2017 or until the fund is depleted. Most awards will fall within the $150-$250 range.
